it is the only peak in the Tatra Mountains which can be reached by a cable car. During the ride, everyone can enjoy wonderful landscape views. At the peak (1987 m), there is a meteorological observatory. Near the top station, there is a yellow trail leading from Sucha Przełęcz to Hala Gąsinicowa. One can follow a red trail and walk through Beskid, Skrajna and Pośrednia Turnia to Świnica or Czerwone Wierchy (West direction). In summer, Kasprowy Wierch is visited by tourists who enjoy mountain hiking, whereas, in winter, this is an ideal place for ski lovers. Kasprowy Wierch is the only Alpine-like place in Poland and the ski season sometimes lasts till May.

How to get there…

From PARYZANKA Guesthouse, turn left and continue driving till you reach Murzasichle. At the end of the road, turn right. Continue driving for another 4 kilometres until you reach Jan Paweł II Roundabout in Zakopane, nearby which, a car park can be found. This is a starting point to Kuźnice. You can either have a walk or take a van to get there.
