Dolina Kościeliska – one of the most beautiful valleys in the Tatra Mountains. The road is 9 kilometres long with many smaller paths leading to Dolina Miętusia, Dolina Tomanowa, Dolina Pyszniańska, and Wąwóz Kraków.  The highest mountain peak in the nearest area is Błyszcz (2159 metres). There are also some caves – Jaskinia Mroźna, Jaskinia Mylna, Smocza Jama and Jaskinia Raptowicka. At the end of the valley, there is Ornak mountain shelter. This may be a starting path to picturesque Smreczyński Staw (Smreczyński Pond).

How to get there…

From PARYZANKA guesthouse, you need to turn left in the direction of Zakopane. Turn right on the first and second roundabout. Turn left on the third roundabout (road no 958).  Drive along Kościeliska street until you reach a car park at the entry to the valley in Kiry. One can walk along the valley or alternatively take horse-drawn carriages (in summer) or sleighs (in winter).
